Our expertise spans mine planning, mining infrastructure construction, mining operations, and the transportation of mining products (including hauling, barging, transshipment) as well as stone crushing and paving block production.
Headquartered in South Jakarta, Indonesia, PT Sinar Terang Mandiri Tbk was established in December 2004 in Manado as a continuation of CV Sinar Terang, founded in December 1997. Since then, we have continued to grow and pursue strategic transformations to strengthen our position in the mining support services and mineral transportation sector.

PT Sinar Terang Mandiri was established in Manado, North Sulawesi.
Commenced nickel mining services for PT Makmur Jaya Lestari in East Halmahera, North Maluku.
Achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification for Civil Construction, Environmental Management, and Mining Services.
Commenced nickel mining services for PT Sumberdaya Arindo in Moronopo, North Maluku, and for PT Antam Resourcindo on Gag Island, Southwest Papua.
Began nickel mining services for PT Aneka Tambang Tbk in Buli, North Maluku, and started infrastructure work on the Manado–Bitung toll road for PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk and PT PP Presisi Tbk.
Launched road paving production operations.
Initiated the construction of a 36-kilometer hauling road for PT Weda Bay Nickel in Weda, North Maluku.
Started mining services for PT Weda Bay Nickel, as well as nickel mining operations for PT Hengjaya Mineralindo in Morowali, Central Sulawesi.
Began construction of an additional 20-kilometer hauling road for PT Weda Bay Nickel.
A Milestone Year — Going Public in 2025
Commenced nickel mining and ore transportation contracts with PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral and secured a road construction contract (Sampala Project) with PT Erabaru Timur Lestari.
Relocated headquarters to Jakarta. Signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with PT Hengjaya Mineralindo for hauling road construction.
Signed a mining development contract with PT Weda Bay Nickel and commenced limonite ore transportation services for PT Hengjaya Mineralindo.
